Superior Funding is committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor and applicant. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please read it carefully. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
When you visit superiorfundding.com, we automatically collect basic technical information such as your IP address, device type, browser, referring URL, and pages viewed. This data helps us improve the site and detect fraudulent activity.
When you submit an application, you provide personal information including name, address, date of birth, Social Security number or ITIN, employment details, monthly income, and bank account information needed for direct deposit. This information is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols.
Application information is shared with the partner lenders in our network for the purpose of evaluating your eligibility for a loan. Lenders use the data only for underwriting purposes. We do not sell your contact information to spam callers, marketing list brokers, or unrelated third parties. We do not enroll you in marketing programs that you did not specifically request.
We may use anonymized, aggregated data for internal analysis to improve our matching algorithm and partner lender network. This aggregated data does not identify you personally and is never sold.
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your session, measure site usage, and prevent fraud. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some features of the site may not function correctly without them.
Application data is retained for as long as is required by applicable federal and state regulations. After the retention period, your data is securely deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, subject to any legal retention requirements that may apply.
The categories of personal information we may collect depend on how you interact with our service. Identifiers include your full legal name, mailing and physical addresses, email address, telephone number, Social Security number or ITIN, and date of birth. Financial information includes your bank account routing and account numbers, employer name and position, monthly income, and the loan amount you are requesting. Internet activity information includes your IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, the pages you visit on our site, the date and time of your visits, and referring website addresses. Inference information includes our system's assessment of which lenders in our partner network are most likely to approve your application based on the profile data you provided.
We do not collect biometric information, geolocation precise enough to identify your specific physical location, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, genetic data, sexual orientation, or any other category of information that would be considered sensitive under applicable privacy laws. If our practices change in the future to include any of those categories, we will update this policy and notify users prominently before the change takes effect.
When you submit a loan application through Superior Funding, we share the relevant identifiers and financial information with the partner lenders in our network whose underwriting profile fits your application. The lenders use this information solely to evaluate your eligibility for a loan and to generate an offer if applicable. Each lender that sees your information is bound by its own privacy policy and applicable federal and state privacy regulations. We do not share Internet activity information with partner lenders, since their underwriting models do not require it. We do not share inference information that we generate internally, because the lender produces its own underwriting determination from your raw data.
Once a specific lender approves your application and you accept the offer, that lender becomes the data controller for your ongoing loan relationship. Your continued interactions, including payment information, account communications, and any servicing matters, are governed by the lender's privacy policy from that point forward. Superior Funding retains a record of the original matching event but does not receive ongoing data about your loan after disbursement.
We retain application data for as long as required by federal and state regulations, which is typically a minimum of five years from the date of application for completed transactions, and a shorter period for applications that did not result in funded loans. After the applicable retention period expires, your personal information is securely deleted from our active systems. Backup copies that contain your data are retained for an additional limited period for disaster recovery purposes, and then permanently removed.
If you would like us to delete your data sooner than the applicable retention period, you can request deletion by contacting us at the email or postal address at the bottom of this policy. We will honor deletion requests to the extent permitted by law, and we will inform you of any legal retention requirements that prevent immediate deletion of specific data categories.
We use a small number of essential cookies to support basic site functionality, including remembering your session during the application process and detecting fraudulent activity. We use a separate category of analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our pages, which helps us improve usability and identify problems with specific pages. We do not use advertising cookies for retargeting or for selling your behavioral data to third-party advertising networks.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling all cookies will affect the functionality of the application process, including the ability to submit an application reliably. Disabling only analytics cookies will not affect functionality and is supported through standard browser controls or through the Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor where applicable.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, or request that we delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] with details of your request. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS for transit and AES for storage) to protect your data. Our internal systems implement role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for staff, and regular security audits. We work with reputable infrastructure providers that maintain SOC 2 compliance. No security system is perfect, but we take security seriously and invest in continuous improvement.
Superior Funding is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly. Parents who believe their child has submitted information should contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated review date. Material changes will also be communicated through prominent notice on the site for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
